Cincinnati sits on steep hills above the Ohio River. Neighborhoods like Mount Adams are full of long staircases. Miniature Dachshunds have long spines prone to back strain. Steep steps and hills put extra stress on their back. Flat routes and ramps work better for daily walks. Up and Away Pups raises every pup ready for Cincinnati life.

Frequently Asked Questions
Helping You Feel Confident About Your Puppy Journey
Are Miniature Dachshunds Friendly with Kids?
Indeed, they are playful and cuddly when handled gently. When they pick them up, teach kids to support their backs. With supervised play, both the puppy and the kids are safe.
How Much Exercise Does a Miniature Dachshund Require?
Most dogs need two short walks each day. Don't jump high or play roughly, as it strains their back. Mental games like sniffing walks wear them out too.
Does Cincinnati's Hilly Terrain Strain the Back of a Dachshund?
Climbing steep hills and long stairs can strain the spine. Choose flatter paths for your daily walks when possible. Ramps help safeguard their backs at home as well.
How Do I Find a Good Dachshund Breeder near Cincinnati?
Ask whether the puppies are raised in a home. Seek out unambiguous health records and a guarantee in writing. A breeder who provides a local option is a positive sign. We deliver right to your door in Cincinnati and Hamilton County.
How Much Do Miniature Dachshund Puppies Typically Cost Near Cincinnati?
The average cost per puppy is $2,995. Uncommon hues and patterns for certain coats often cost more. Contact us for the latest pricing and litter availability.
