Dayton has welcomed Cavapoos, whether it's a Water Street tower or a backyard at Oakwood. They have a wavy, low-shed coat that makes them comfortable in apartments and quiet suburban yards. Prone to readily adapting to either side, they are easygoing. There's more to flexibility than meets the eye.

Some Dogs Take Work to Fit Your Life & A Cavapoo Settles Right In
Others know what matters. It is grounded, authentic, and based on a solid relationship. We raise our Cavapoos with purpose. At Up and Away Pups, we do NOT do "quick sales" with dogs. They receive plenty of time, attention and care, making them a well-rounded companion. This breed will do well in an apartment or an Oakwood home on Water Street. They are a medium-sized, calm breed that is not very demanding when it comes to space. These puppies come quietly, form genuine attachments and contribute to the completeness of a Dayton home. Well, this is exactly what they're supposed to do.

Ethical Breeding Isn't a Slogan Here & It's Just How We Work Daily
In Dayton, we don't follow checklists. We don't breed a dog for a human, a person for a dog. That awareness begins early and is a consistent regimen of hand movements. Your Water Street loft or Oakwood yard isn't where the puppies get what it takes to feel safe. We are okay with this process being what it takes to do it.
If what you want is a Cavapoo raised with patience, purpose, and genuine care, we’ll be here when the time feels right.
- Life is busy and stretched, so our plans are flexible, easy and pressure-free.
- Your puppy will be calm and ready to go, wherever you go in Dayton.
- Complete and well-rounded dogs don’t just happen. Support is provided from the first day.
- Owning a Cavapoo home is only just the start, and we will be here for the rest of the way.
Frequently Asked Questions
Helping You Feel Confident About Your Puppy Journey
Do Cavapoos Shed Much?
Not too heavily due to their Poodle parent. They still shed a bit during weather changes. Weekly brushing will help keep shedding and tangles under control. Coat texture varies with each litter.
Are Cavapoos Prone to Separation Anxiety?
To some degree, yes, because of their affectionate Cavalier side. They form a close bond and like to be close to their people. Train gradually by letting your pet stay alone, which can prevent real distress later. A suitable space and puzzle toys also make the transition easier.
Does a Water Street Apartment Work for a Cavapoo?
Indeed, very well. Water Street allows dogs weighing up to 70 pounds. Due to their moderate size and calm energy, the Cavapoo fits that setup easily. A walk along the riverfront covers their daily exercise. Confirm pet fees before signing any contract.
Where Can My Cavapoo Meet Other Dogs Near Dayton?
Dog owners often visit Eastwood MetroPark with their pooches. The lakeside paths encourage spontaneous informal meetings. Several Dayton trainers offer nearby puppy socialization classes.
What is the Price Range for a Cavapoo Puppy in Dayton?
Cavapoos in Dayton range from $995 to $1,295 based on the coat and the type of pup you choose. Contact us for more details.
