Potty Training
Your trainer will teach the process to your puppy to go potty outside instead of in the house or in their crate at night. Your puppy will establish a routine to help their potty training habits. You may make specific requests regarding bell training or pee pad training for your new puppy to learn. By the end of this program your puppy’s chance of going home and having an accident is minimized for a smooth transition.
Crate Training
Your puppy will start to learn how to voluntarily go into their crate when asked and make their crate their personal safe place, as well as the place where they sleep at night and during nap time during the day. This is very important for puppy development. They will be very comfortable with their crate and will learn not cry and whimper while in the crate.
Leash Manners
Your puppy will learn how to walk properly on a leash. They will master how to walk beside you at ease without pulling their leash or getting ahead of you. They will how to wait calmly when you are not walking as well.
Name Recognition
Your trainer will teach your puppy the name you chose for them and train them to come when called by their name. Your puppy will also learn to pay attention and listen to you when they hear their name. After this program they will be very familiar with their name.
Establishing Routines
Your trainer will establish a daily potty training, meal time, bed time, and nap time routine. They will also get into a routine for their daily training sessions and play times. They will have an extremely solid routine established after this training program. This is a very important step for puppy training success and establishing a routine is crucial for a puppy to reach their full potential and transition properly into their new home.
Handling
Allows your puppy to feel comfortable when being picked up and handled by family members, groomers, and veterinarians. Your puppy will be comfortable with their faces, feet, ears, and tail to be touched and handled. Your puppy will not react if pulled or tugged on - especially by a young child.
House Manners
Any kind of bad puppy behavior like nipping or jumping up for attention will be discouraged and good manners will be formed during their training. During this program your puppy will be taught to minimize any yappy barks within your home. Bad behavior will be at a bare minimum after this program and their good habits formed with a strong foundation.
